As people around the world try to envision recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic, much attention has been paid to coronavirus antibody testing as a way to identify people who have developed immunity to the virus.

Perhaps those with antibodies could be given “immunity passports,” allowing health care workers to return to the front lines, and a subset of the population to reopen the economy.
